Goldbühel

The Goldbühel is one of the most important locations in Krustetten.

Unique to our area is the combination of climate and soil. The altitude and the exposure lead to cooler conditions, especially during the ripening period of the grapes. The geology and soil are characterized by conglomerate, a calcareous sedimentary rock. The soil is loamy and rich in calcite. With this location we have represented not only the loess and the primary rock but also lime as a soil type in our variety of wines. The Grüner Veltliner was planted out again in 2017 and we were expanded separately for the first time with the harvest in 2019.
